Lots of Bull........

Report Date: October 10, 2006

Reds that is, Bull Reds. Herds of em' The big boys of have finally showed up and the action has been unbelievable.

Port Royal sound and the near shore live bottoms of Edisto Beach have been producing some serious catches of Bull Reds. With the mojority of the fish over twenty-five pounds, and numbers into the twenties, I've been sending home some clients with sore backs! Not that that's a bad thing by any means.

On the inshore front, things have really started to heat up. The Trout are still on the small side but when you can catch forty of them a day with a few slobs mixed in, it's pretty fun.

The inshore Redfish bite has been very good as well. We are getting into some areas that are stacked up with slot size fish averaging 4-5lbs and other places are holding fish into the ten pound range.

For the most part, live shrimp have been the ticket on the upper stage of the tide, and for low tide sight fishing, Gulp!
