Fall fishing report.

Report Date: September 27, 2007

Here's the early fall, late summer report. Things have been going really good as far as the inshore bite goes. Lots of bait and plenty of fish to go with them. We have been doing really well with the reds and trout, catching most of them on live bait with the trusty ol' popping cork. The majority of the reds have been on the small side with a good bit of slot size with larger fish mixed in. The high tide trout bite has been pretty consitant and when you get on them, they are thick.

We still have a few Tarpon left out in the sound and they should stick around for maybe another week or two as the mullet runs continue, but then they will be gone. The big bull reds in the sound are starting to get thicker and we'll work on those some more for the next month or so.
Thanks to all that fished with me this summer, hope to see ya again.
